Suicide Prevention Awareness - Sensibilisation à la prévention du suicide 21 FREDERICTON POLICE FORCE FORCE POLICIÈRE DE FREDERICTON www.fredericton.ca/en/fredericton-police The Fredericton Police Force, in collaboration with Horizon Health Network, the City of Fredericton, and Communication Centre, have worked together over the past year to create the Livestreaming Body Worn Camera project. This project through the Axon body worn cameras allows the Mobile Crisis team to livestream the officers’ interactions with individuals in mental health crises. Having mental health services livestreaming a situation while they are on their way to the scene provides valuable awareness to best help the individual in need. The Mobile Crisis team can also view the livestreaming and provide over-the-phone consults to the officer when they are not available to provide on-scene support. La Force policière de Fredericton, en collaboration avec le Réseau de santé Horizon, la Ville de Fredericton et le Centre de communication, ont travaillé ensemble au cours de la dernière année pour créer le projet de diffusion en direct de caméra d’intervention. Ce projet à travers les caméras d’intervention d'Axon permet à l'équipe mobile d’intervention d’urgence de diffuser en direct les interactions des agents avec des personnes en crise de santé mentale. Avoir des services de santé mentale diffusant en direct une situation pendant qu'ils se rendent sur les lieux fournit une prise de conscience précieuse pour aider au mieux la personne dans le besoin. L'équipe mobile d’intervention d’urgence peut également visionner la diffusion en direct et fournir des consultations par téléphone à l'agent lorsqu'ils ne sont pas disponibles pour fournir une assistance sur place.
